"We believe and teach that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative word of God that calls us through the power of the Holy Spirit, to witness and seek to lead others to personal faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We help homeless Christians grow toward maturity as believers of Christ by studying the Bible, prayer, and Christian fellowship; to present the call of God to help them seek God's role for them."

TBAAM was featured in the St. Petersburg Times on December 2, 2008, where Mary Hite kept her sons, Adam, 2, and Ethan, 7 at Touched by an Angel Ministries. At the time, they lived there for six months. She and her husband, Maurice, were evicted from their $1,200-a-month rental home after he was laid off.

Over 30 carnival rides, live entertainment, fun and food galore were planned by our ministry. Touched by an Angel Ministries reached out to the homeless and underserved populations of the Tampa Bay area through various food and clothing giveaways, service orientation programs as well as their flagship effort, supplying housing and life skills training for troubled individuals and families. The carnival was held August 28th, 29th and 30th at the Town Plaza Square on the corner of 52nd Street and 81st Avenue in Pinellas Park. It featured various carnival rides, face painting and crafts booths, and live entertainment - including much fun, food and festivities.

We are trusting the Lord to allow us to save this former Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputy and his young son from a foreclosure situation. Mr. Ron Shirley had a slip and fall accident some years back and is battling excruciating back and leg pain. He is totally disabled. TBAAM is stepping in to raise funds to stop the bank from foreclosing on Mr. Shirley's home. He is totally disabled, having had several surgeries and bone transplants.

We not only assist the homeless, but we attempt to intervene whenever possible to help prevent homelessness. Obviously, we cannot intervene in every foreclosure situation; when special circumstances warrant, however, we will do as the Spirit leads us. After prayer and careful consideration, we feel led to establish a fund for Mr. Shirley and his ten-year-old son in order to save his home from bank foreclosure.

We are trusting the surrounding business and private arenas to participate in helping fill this need. We know from experience that as you give, even more is given back in return. Whether monetary, material, or otherwise, we cannot outgive the Creator of giving...
